Who are we?

Premier Court Housing Association (“the controller”) is a not-for-profit residents association that supports the residents of Premier Court and works to promote a safe, efficient and well-governed association for our residents through the housing manager and a residents committee.

When do we collect information about individuals.

We collect information about people when they interact with us in various ways. These include but are not limited to:

  • When you drive onto or around Premier Court and are captured by our CCTV system
  • When you make an application or request our support
  • When you enquire about a property
  • When you engage with the committee or housing manager
  • When you want to inform us of any issues or concerns
  • When you purchase a property
  • When require additional support or guidance
  • When you or someone else raises a complaint or grievance

What is our lawful basis for processing personal data?

We will only process your information where there is a lawful basis for such processing and the following applies:

  •  The data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes, such as when you ask us to investigate a concern, complaint, or repair which we will only do with your explicit and informed consent.
  • Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering a contract, such as arranging tradespeople to undertake repairs on your behalf or agreeing to the conditions of the lease and housing association when purchasing your property.

The association takes the security of all the data we hold seriously and adheres to internationally recognised security, confidentiality, and records retention standards. We have this privacy notice, procedures and training in place covering data protection to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

When we might share your information

There may be occasions where we are required to share your personal and or sensitive data and these include:

When required to write to you about your service charges, ownership, responsibilities, complaint outcomes, welfare, or repairs.

  • When we are required to update our financial audits or health and safety reports
  • When we are required to present relevant and justified information to the committee for consideration
  • When we are required to engage with other third parties such as solicitors, third party agents, public authorities, or care agencies.
  • Where we are legally required to disclose information through legitimate, justified, and lawful requests.

Who we might share your information with

In certain circumstances we may be required to share your personal and or sensitive information with other third parties and we may share your data with but not limited to:

  • Public authorities, care agencies or health providers
  • Approved tradesmen or companies making repairs to our facilities or your property.
  • Financial management and audit agencies as part of our annual returns or contract
  • Bromford housing and or other third-party housing associations or bodies
  • Third parties working under contract for the association.
  • The committee on a need-to-know basis and for example to aid in decision making.
